SCOTTSDALE, AZ – CU Realty Services, the largest real estate Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) in the U.S., just marked its 20th anniversary. CU Realty was launched in 2000 by a real estate broker and a technology expert with the vision to make homeownership easier and more affordable for credit union members. Its program, HomeAdvantage®, became one of the first portals in the nation to offer searchable property listings on the internet.
CU Realty’s turnkey real estate marketing platform helps credit unions retain more of its member’s purchase mortgage business. The frontend offers tools that attract members at the beginning of their home buying journey while the backend systems nurture them until they are ready to transact. This includes MLS listings, property valuations, marketing touchpoints, a network of real estate agents and an attractive cash-back benefit at closing averaging $1,600 per transaction.
Today, HomeAdvantage helps more than 120 credit unions and mortgage CUSOs in 24 states attract and nurture home-buying members and close more purchase loans.
“CU Realty’s core mission has always been to make the home-buying process easier and more affordable for credit union members. We are proud that HomeAdvantage is still as relevant and successful 20 years later,” said Mike Corn, CEO and co-founder of CU Realty Services. “Many of our credit union partners have been with us since the beginning and are still seeing incredible results.”
On average, when credit unions use HomeAdvantage, they increase their loan volume by more than 40 percent and reach pull-through rates of 84 percent.
“The key to year-after-year growth is our track record,” said Craig Davis, broker and co-founder of CU Realty Services. “We’ve given back millions of dollars in Cash Rewards to credit union members. We’ve got happy members, we’ve got happy real estate agents and we have happy credit unions. It’s a win-win-win all the way around.”
CU Realty has given back nearly $50 million in HomeAdvantage Cash Rewards to both buyers and sellers during the program’s lifetime. Eleven credit unions have achieved Million Dollar Club status by returning $1 million or more to members through HomeAdvantage.
